Crisis Management & Human Behaviour (STCW V/2, 6, A-V/2.3)
  • For Masters,chief engineer officers, chief mates, second engineer officers and any person designated on muster lists as having responsibility for the safety of passengers in emergency situations on board (ro-ro) passenger ships.
  • This training provides more insight in the behaviour that people display during an emergency and how best to deal with it.

Crowd Management (STCW V/2, 4, A-V/2.1)
including SAFETY TRAINING FOR PERSONNEL PROVIDING DIRECT SERVICE TO PASSENGERS IN PASSENGER SPACES (Regulation V/2, paragraph 5 and section A-V/2 paragraph 2)
  • For Masters, officers and other personnel designated on muster lists to assist passengers in emergency situations on board (ro-ro) passenger ships
  • This training provides skills necessary to guide groups of passengers according to the emergency procedures, with the help of the muster list.

Passenger Safety, Cargo Safety and Hull Integrity (STCW V/2, 7, A-V/2.4)
  • For Masters, chief mates, chief engineer officers, second engineer officers and persons assigned immediate responsibility for embarking and disembarking passengers, for boarding, discharging or securing cargo of for closing hull openings on board(ro-ro) passenger ships
  • This training focusses on the organising of safe embarking and disembarking of vehicles and passengers.

Security Awareness Training  (STCW VI/6, 1-3, A VI/6.1-4)
  • For all seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board a ship which is required to comply with the provisions of the ISPS Code without designated security duties.
  • This trainig focusses on becoming aware of security on board and recognising and dealing with possible threats.

Security Duties Training (STCW VI/6, 4-6, A-VI/6.6-8)
  • For all seafarers or other shipboard personnel with designated security duties in connection with the Ship Security Plan. To participate in this course one needs to be in possession of the certificate Security Awareness ((STCW VI/6, 1-3, A VI/6.1-4).
  • This training goes further in the knowledge of ship security and explains the role of a Ship Security Plan.

Ship Security Officer  (STCW VI/5, 1-3, A-VI/5.1-4)
  • For officers in charge with the security organization on board of sea-going vessels as required in SOLAS and the ISPS Code. Required competence: Officer of Watch (Dual Watch Officer, Deck Officer or Engineer) on ships of >500GT. Course participants should be over 18, have at least 1 year of proved seagoing experience and have reasonable knowledge of the English language.
  • This training focusses on ship security and the development and maintenance of a Ship Security Plan.
